Revanth Reddy allocates portfolios to 11 ministers

Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy  has allocated portfolios to around 11 ministers, who were sworn in on December 7 (Thursday), keeping in consideration their experience and seniority. The CM has kept important portfolios like the home department, law and order and municipal administration department with him.

While Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has been given finance, planning and energy departments, another senior minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy has been given crucial irrigation and civil supplies departments.

Damodar Raja Narasimha gets health, medical and family welfare, science and technology departments in Telangana government. 

Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy got revenue, housing and information and public relations department. Tummala Nageshwara Rao, who served as minister in the TRS government before 2018, got the agriculture department.

While Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who served as youth services department in YSR government earlier, secured roads and buildings and cinematography, Damodar Raja Narsimha, who worked as deputy CM in Kiran Kumar Reddy’s cabinet earlier, was given health, medical and science and technology wings. D Sridhar Babu will look after legislative affairs along with industries and IT. The BC welfare and transport ministry has been allocated to Ponnam Prabhakar while Jupally Krishna Rao got excise, tourism and culture.

Two women ministers Konda Surekha got forest and environment and endowments while another minister D Anasuya alias Seethakka was allocated panchayat raj, rural development and women and child welfare. Six more ministers can be appointed in the council of ministers.
