Prime Minister Narendra Modi called upon the voters to reject Telangana Chief Minister and BRS candidate K Chandrashekar Rao and TPCC president A Revanth Reddy contesting in Kamareddy Assembly constituency, who are scared of their defeat in the other constituencies.
Addressing BJP election rally in Kamareddy on Saturday, he accused that both parties are anti-youth. While the KCR Government failed to employ the youth,h e said that the Congress killed hundreds of young men who fought for separate Telangana.
Modi said that the bad track record of the TRS which changed its name to BRS and the UPA changed to INDIA, could not be erased. Changing their name can not cover their bad deeds and asserted that on December 3, KCR will be defeated and the BJP will be coming to power in Telangana.
The Prime Minister said that he saw a wave in favour of the BJP in Telangana, and he was sure that a Chief Minister from the BC community would take over the reins of governance in the newborn State.
“Both the BRS and the Congress cheated Telangana in their way. That is why people are looking for a change. Now, the people of Telangana are pinning their hopes on the BJP. The BJP manifesto is a reflection of the aspirations of the people of Telangana,” PM Modi said.
Assuring the people of Kamareddy that the BJP would fulfill all its promises after coming to power in Telangana, he said that the track record of the BJP would show that BJP had promised to abrogate article 370, abolish triple talaq, provide 33 percent reservation for women, one rank one pension for retired personnel of the armed forces and build Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, and fulfilled all the promises.
He reminded the people that the BJP also fulfilled its promise to establish a Turmeric board and central tribal university and it kept its promise. “Modi is the guarantee.
“BJP is always for social justice. Madigas were cheated. The BJP knows their problems and is forming a committee to help Madigas win the case in the Supreme Court. Yesterday I spoke with officers in Delhi regarding the formation of the committee,” the PM said.
Alleging that the Telangana Government had resorted to large-scale corruption in the construction of irrigation projects, Narendra Modi said whenever the BRS wanted money, the government would launch a new irrigation project and use it as an ATM.
