Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday targetted the Opposition’s INDIA alliance and alleged that it wants to finish Sanatan Dharma. Speaking in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, Modi said that the alliance has a hidden agenda to ‘attack India’s culture’.

He termed the opposition alliance as ‘ghamandiya’ [arrogant] and said they neither have policies nor a leader. His statement comes in the wake of remarks made by DMK leader and Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, who said Sanatan Dharma is against social justice and that it should be eradicated.

In a scathing attack on INDIA, he further said: “At a time when Bharat is emerging as a world leader at global forums, some parties are trying to divide the country and its people. They don’t have a leader yet and there is suspense over who will lead them into the Lok Sabha elections next year.”

“In the days to come, they will step up their attacks on us. Every Sanatani, every person who loves this country, those who love the people of this country; all of us have to stay vigilant. Through the strength of our organisation, we have to ensure that their strategy does not succeed,” he said.

The PM was speaking after laying the foundation stone of a Rs 49,000 crore-worth petrochemicals complex at Bina refinery in Sagar district along with 10 industrial projects in the state.

He also announced that the government will provide 75 lakh new gas connections in the country. Targeting the Congress further, the PM said those who ruled Madhya Pradesh for a long time did nothing else other than corruption and crime.

“People from previous generations will remember how the Congress left the state’s Bundelkhand region in desperate need of water, electricity and roads. I am convinced that Madhya Pradesh will touch new heights when it comes to industrialisation in the coming days,” he said.
