K.Krishna Saagar Rao, organizational strategist and author said that all elected representatives are not leaders and all leaders need not be elected representatives.
Addressing as Chief Guest at the IT Serve Conference at Woodbridge, New Jersey (USA) on ‘Organizational Leadership’, he said that leadership is a necessity even at a family, profession, business, social and community setting or achieving positive outcomes.
Over 250 CEO’s of IT and Allied sectors have participated in the event. He inferred Leadership is getting things done, with respect.
Krishna stated that real leaders have larger vision, empathy and courage to challenge the status quo. Real leaders alter direction of people and organizations they lead towards greatness, while accentuating its values through actionable dignity and respect, he added.
Krishna has stated that the concept of ‘Leadership’ has become highly misunderstood, misused and abused in contemporary times. He asserted that in the present times we are in, high quality leadership is essential in organizations such as family, society, business, politics and in governance.
