According to Brand Finance (BF), the world’s leading sectoral valuation consultant, the Tata Group remains the most valuable Indian brand, with its oldest company, Taj Hotels, emerging as the strongest brand in India.
In June 2022, Infosys (up 52% to US$ 12.8 billion in brand value) has surpassed LIC (up 28% to US$ 11.1 billion in brand value) to become the second most valuable Indian brand.
BF’s list of top ten most valuable Indian brands in 2022 is — Tata (US$ 24 billion), Infosys (US$ 13 billion), LIC (US$ 11 billion), Reliance Industries Ltd (US$ 8.6 billion), Airtel (US$ 7.7 billion), SBI (US$ 7.5 billion), HDFC Bank (US$ 6.9 billion), Wipro (US$ 6.4 billion) and Mahindra and HCL (US$ 6.1 billion each).
