Now railway passenger will get bumper discount on tickets

From now on, crores of passengers will get discount on tickets. In the first train from the department, women used to get 50 percent discount and men got 40 percent discount in the senior citizen category, but it was stopped in Corona.

According to the information received from the Railways, at this time, tickets are available only for farmers, differently-abled, students, wives of martyrs, awardees and for medical purposes. In this, patients and students get the benefit of relaxation in 11 categories and Divyang in 4 categories.

If we talk about the discount given to students, then students coming under general category get 50 percent discount in sleeper class. On the other hand students of SC and ST category get a discount of 75 percent. At the same time, 50 percent discount is given in the second class for the students appearing in the mains exam of UPSC and Central Staff Selection Commissions.

Railways told that passengers facing serious diseases get a discount in train tickets. Patients with thalassemia, heart and kidney disease get 75 per cent concession in sleeper, AC chair car, and first class and third class passengers. At the same time, passengers get the benefit of 50 percent discount on First and Second AC tickets.

Apart from this, passengers facing the problem of cancer also get a discount of 75 percent in the first class. Apart from this, tickets for sleeper and third AC are completely free and 50 percent discount is also available on second AC.
