According to a United Nations (UN) estimate, China, India, Japan, the United States, and Europe received 84% of roughly US$ 1 trillion in worldwide investment in energy transition technologies in 2021. According to the report, annual investments between US$ 4 trillion-US$ 6 trillion would be necessary until 2030 to enable an equal transition to renewable energy. The Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance has on Wednesday released the 5th monthly instalment of Post Devolution Revenue Deficit (PDRD) Grant of Rs. 7,183.42 crore to 14 States.
