Child marriage is still legal in the U.S. Minors, defined by the UN as someone under the age of 18, are able to be married under certain conditions in 43 states. Punjab Police denied media reports that ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief Amritpal Singh, who is facing charges of spreading communal tension in the state, has been arrested and said the radical preacher is still on the run.
