India’s internet speed has improved in speed tests. According to the Speedtest Global Index by Ookla, India’s net speed in both mobile as well as fixed broadband showed improvement in the month of April, compared to previous months. In median mobile speeds, India’s speed increased from 33.30 mbps (mega bits per second) to 36.35 mbps. This improved the nation’s mobile internet speed rankings up four places from No. 64 to No. 60.
