India’s ambitious third moon mission, Chandrayaan-3 was successfully inserted into the lunar orbit on Saturday, the ISRO said. The required manoeuvre was done from an ISRO facility here, the city-headquartered space agency said in a tweet. “Chandrayaan-3 has been successfully inserted into the lunar orbit. A retro-burning at the Perilune was commanded from the Mission Operations Complex (MOX), ISTRAC (ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network), Bengaluru,” the agency said in a tweet. An Islamabad trial court on Saturday declared former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan guilty of “corrupt practices” in the Toshakhana case and disqualified him from politics for five years. S&P Global forecasted an average annual growth of 6.7% from the fiscal year 2023-24 (FY24) to FY31, with capital accumulation serving as the primary driver of this growth, expressing confidence in the medium-term growth potential of the Indian economy. The Indian government on Thursday issued a notice imposing immediate restrictions on the import of laptops, tablets, and personal computers. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued the notice under HSN8471 with “immediate effect”.
