As death toll in rain-related incidents in Himachal Pradesh over the past week rose to 78 on Saturday, the local MeT office has sounded a yellow warning of heavy to very heavy rain on August 20 and 21 and heavy rain on August 22 and 23.It also cautioned of moderate to high risk of flash floods in Shimla, Sirmaur and Chamba districts. In a significant move for the progress of the National Green Hydrogen Mision, the government has notified the Green Hydrogen Standard for India. The standard issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India outlines the emission thresholds that must be met in order for hydrogen produced to be classified as ‘Green’, i.e., from renewable sources.
