Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (IIFCL), to finance renewable energy projects. The MoU will empower IREDA and IIFCL to engage in Co-Lending / Co-Origination and Loan Syndication for all categories of Renewable Energy projects, including Small Hydro projects. Both organisations will strive to also fix interest rates for IREDA borrowings for a period of three to four years. Hoping to extend the life of the Chandrayaan-3 lander and rover, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Saturday said it had put Pragyan rover in an hibernation mode as the daylight time on Moon is coming to an end. “The Rover completed its assignments. The Reserve Bank of India on Friday informed that about 93 per cent of Rs 2,000 currency notes have been returned to the banks.The bank further informed that now only Rs 0.24 lakh crore of such notes are left with public.
