The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may get a clear majority in this month’s assembly elections, says India TV-CNX second opinion poll survey, results of which were telecast on Saturday, on the news channel. The opinion poll projections show, in a House of 200 assembly seats, BJP may win 115 seats, compared to 73 seats it had won five years ago. At least 157 people were killed and over 160 others injured when a powerful 6.4 magnitude earthquake, the worst since 2015, struck Nepal and destroyed hundreds of houses in the Himalayan nation’s remote mountainous region, officials said on Saturday.
