For the first time in over 40 years, the Portuguese Union of Journalists (SinJor) will be calling a 24-hour strike, joined by other journalists’ unions and associations, on 14 March to demand better working conditions. The International and European Federation of Journalists (IFJ-EFJ) stand in solidarity with the striking journalists and media workers. The State Bank of India on Tuesday submitted details of the electoral bonds to the Election Commission, a day after the Supreme Court gave a stern order and set a deadline to submit the data. The poll panel will now collate and publsih the data on its website by March 15 as per the top court order.
