Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), an active socio-cultural organisation of Bharat, will complete one hundred years of existence on  Vijayadashmi in 2025. The forthcoming Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), scheduled for   15, 16 and 17 March next at Nagpur (Maharashtra) will  discuss the plans adopted for  its centenary celebration. The annual Pratinidhi Sabha will also review its activities especially related to the Shakhas in different parts of the country.

“RSS aims to take the number of Shakhas to one lakh in the centenary year,” said Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar at a press briefing in Reshimbag premises on Wednesday. Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla on 22 January last has ushered in an environment of excitement and joy. This historic event is very important from the Bharatiya perspective. Pratinidhi Sabha will pass a resolution in this regard, added Ambekar.

Pashchim Kshetra Sanghchalak Jayantibhai Bhadesia was present on the dais where  Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh Narendra Kumar were also present on the occasion. ABPS is being held in Nagpur after six years since 2018, where  1529 Pratinidhi from different parts of Bharat are expected to attend. Over 32 Sangh inspired organisations and groups will also participate in the meeting. Rashtra Sevika Samiti Pramukh Sanchalika Shantakka,  Alok Kumar from Vishwa Hindu Parishad and distinguished personalities will grace the occasion.

During the Pratinidhi Sabha, all organisations report and discuss their works, issues before them and efforts towards the possible solutions during the ABPS. It will also witness the election process for the post of  Sarakaryawah and before this, the election process of Kshetra Sanghchalaks of all eleven Kshetras will also be completed. It will also finalize the plans for the nation-wide Pravas by Sarsanghchalaak Mohan Bhagwat.

It will discuss the Panch Parivartan program for  benefits of the society. The program includes five key points for social transformation namely samajik samrasata, kutumb prabodhan, paryavaran, the insistence on ‘Swa’ and the duties of the citizens. As 2024 is also Ahilyabai Holkar’s birth tercentenary year, the Sangh will release a statement on the same. The tercentenary will be observed between May 2024 and April 2025.  Pratinidhi Sabha will also discuss the Sangh Shiksha Varg with a newly revised curriculum.
