The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal leaders demanded to cancel the permission given for Tablighi Jamaat to hold a conference near Parigi in Vikarabad district on 6th 7th 8th January 2024.  In a memorandam submitted to Telangana DGP Ravi Gupta on Saturday, they strongly condemns the state government’s allocation of funds from the treasury to a terrorist organization against the constitution.

The memorandum was submitted by VHP State Secretary Pandarinath, Co-ordinators  Ganapuram Rajeshwar Reddy,  Bhanu Prasad, Prachara Prasar Pramukh  Pagadakula Balaswamy, Bajrangdal State Convener  Shiva Ramulu and Tirupati Naik.

They lamented that it is unconstitutional for the state government to allocate funds to organizations that engage in anti-social activities, anti-Hindu activities, attack on orthodoxy, and spew hatred against Indian existence. They asked that  does the Telangana state government not know that Tabliki Jamaat organizations have been banned by many Muslim countries?

They deplored that the Indian society has not yet forgotten the fact that Corona spread in the country due to Publigi Jamaat held in Delhi in the year 2020. Organizations like this should be banned which aim to destroy the traditions of Hindu culture by inciting innocent youth, they added.

They also demanded that the state government should immediately take back the Rs 2.46 crore  released by the state government through the treasury for these meetings. Otherwise, they warned that VHP will take up agitations.
