Union Minister of Home and Cooperation Amit Shah lamented that the BRS government has ruined Telangana in 10 years. Addressing massive BJP election rallies in the state, besides road shows in Hyderabad, he said KCR did not stand by any of his promises and had nothing other than thousands of crores of corruption for his son KTR.
Adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided to form a National Turmeric Board for turmeric farmers Shah said, “We will create value for turmeric, we will export turmeric and also promote research on the medicinal use of turmeric.”
He also added, “We have decided that a 500-bed hospital will be built exclusively for Beedi workers in Nizamabad. Lakhs of people from North Telangana go to the Gulf countries to work there. We will form a separate NRI department for them to solve their issues.”
Union Home Minister said that PM Modi has decided to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day every year with pomp and show. He alleged that KCR does not celebrate the Hyderabad Liberation Day fearing the Razakars.
“KCR is involved in thousands of crores of scams. He thinks that nothing will happen. But I would ask him not to sleep blissfully. Because his time has arrived. The BJP government will get all the scams investigated and put the culprits behind bars,” he added.
“In 2014 KCR said that he would make a Dalit chief minister. But he did not do that. I promise you all today that form a BJP government and we will make the chief minister from the backward class”, he said.
Amit Shah said that PM Modi has reduced customs duty on petrol. But KCR did not reduce GST. He assured that once a BJP government is formed it will reduce the GST on petrol and diesel in the first cabinet itself and reduce their prices.
He also said, “We have decided that we will buy all the paddy produced in Telangana at Rs.3100 per quintal. We have decided to buy boiled rice at MSP which KCR does not do. Moreover, the farmers need not spend money on Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana premiums. Rather the BJP government will pay it for you. Along with that, we will give all the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Scheme 4 cylinders free of cost every year.”
He made it clear that both Congress and the BRS cannot make Telangana the number one state in the nation. Because they have to place quotations to become ministers and the ones who give more money can become a minister. The one who is with the people does not become a minister in their government, he added.
“KCR is into the politics of appeasement. His election symbol is a car. But the steering of the car is not with KCR but with Owaisis. They run the KCR government. They have given 4% reservations to Muslims”, he added.
He appealed to form a BJP government in the state and the party will remove the Muslim reservation and give reservations to OBC, SC and STs.
